Dear Parents:
IN HARI calendar Diwali is not a holiday because commonly it falls on a week day
and we have a separate day earmarked for Diwali Event.
However, this year Diwali falls on Sunday, October 30.
We have been hearing from parents and teachers alike that being an important day HARI should close on this day.
We realize the significance of the day and have accordingly decided to declare
October 30 a holiday to mark the DIWALI POOJA DAY.
HARI wishes you a prosperous Diwali and Happy New Year!

Dear Parents:
HARI 2016- 17 session will commence on September 11.
If you have not pre-enrolled your child, please complete your registration starting 10:30.
Those who have not submitted the registration form, it will help if you please
download the form now from our site HARI school website and bring the completed form.
Please make the following payments:
Fee: $250 for year/ $125 per session (For sibling $200 for year)
One time Snacks charge $20
One time Graduation Picnic $20
School schedule is as follows:
- 10:15- 10:30 Quiz
- 10:30- 11:15 Language class
- 11:15- 11:30 Snacks Break (Snacks will be provided)
- 11:30- 12: 15 Culture class
Your child will be assigned to proper Language and Culture classes.
All books and supplies will be provided.

HARI ANNUAL PICNIC AND GRADUATION – Location change

WE have been very keenly following weather forecast for June 5.
Rain appears imminent on Sunday.
With much reluctance we are shifting the venue to the
Third World Center (Brown Center for Students of Color), 68 Brown Street
where we hold school every Sunday.
Meeting time is the same,11 AM.
Please spread this word among your friends as the time is short..
When: Sunday, June 5 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Where: Third World Center (Brown Center for Students of Color), 68 Brown Street, Providence, RI
Agenda:
11am to 12pm – Arrival, Meet and greet.
12pm to 1:30pm – Lunch (Chole Bhatura, Samosa and Gulab Jamun and Pizza for kids.)
1:30pm to 2:30pm – Graduation Ceremony and Prize Distribution. Please RSVP by May 27th

HARI Holi Function and Annual Day

HARI wishes to invite you and your family to our Holi Function and Annual Day celebration
The Schedule is
(all kids must arrive at 10 am)
10 am to 11 am : Rehersal
11 am to 12 noon: Snacks
12 noon to 1:45 pm: Cultural Program
1:45 pm to 2:45 pm: Lunch
3 pm: Holi Color (Once we go out to play with colors we are not allowed to get back in the building)
Please RSVP the evite by April 22nd.
Parents and siblings of students are included and any guests are required to pay $10 at the entrance but please include the #s in RSVP so we are able to order food accordingly.

HARI school spring semester will start from Jan 10, 2016.
The opening day details are as follows:
The opening day will be the regular HARI School with language classes, snacks followed by culture classes & pending registration.
- 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM – Language classes
- 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM – Snacks
- 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM – Culture classes

10:15 AM to 12:15 PM – All pending & new registration for spring semester
- Registration Fee – $125.00
- Snacks per family – $10.00 (for this semester)
- Picnic per family – $ 20.00

Midterm Exam and Semester Closing Activities

- Dec 20 is a Midterm Exam Day. There is no Quiz for Dec 20.
- Exam Outline for each class is enclosed. Respective teachers have already conferred
with students and parents about the exam. - Followed by Exam from 10:15- 11:15, will be the Parents- Teachers conference
wherein please provide your input to the teachers; we will appreciate your input.
